Tiara Tips
Hi,
my name is Diana Hunter.
In 1992, I attended Clackmannan College for a two year SVQ floristry course.
I was unable to take it to City and Guilds level in a third year due to family
commitments. My family commitments are now all at high school and I decided
I would like to go back to work, but as a carer, I needed something that would
allow me to work from home.
My niece, who was married in July 2005, invited me to visit wedding exhibitions
with her to help choose a florist, wedding dresses, photographers etc, was
also looking at tiaras. Being a creative person, and using my floristry skills
I decided to make my niece a tiara as a present for her wedding. But the bug
hit, and I decided to try a few more designs.
Well, many tiara designs on and each style and design changing from the last
one, my niece finally managed to choose one.
Many of the style and designs have come from ideas that my large Polish/Italian/Scottish
family have given me and most are named after them. The unusual
name diza is simply an anagram of my first and Polish maiden name.
I have since learned that Diza is a female hebrew name meaning Joy.
I look forward to meeting you and creating your own special Tiara
and I hope it brings you much joy on your special day.
